The floods of 2018 weren't stopping this wedding...

Merri and Michael met back in college at ABI. They were just good friends. In 2010 they dated for a minute & Merri told Michael he wasn’t her type. To her surprise, he advised she would marry him someday. Time moved forward to 2016 and AIB closed. Merri called Michael and invited him to the AIB reunion party AND get this, she had tried to set him up with one of her friends. Michael had no interest because he was smitten with Merri. At the end of the even he caught her off guard with a kiss and asked for chance at a first real date. Merri said yes and the rest was history.

Planning the wedding was seamless and then the flood changed everything. Two weeks before the wedding date, flash flooding forced a change. The amphitheater at Coby Park would not be cleaned up by July 14th.

Stoney Creek became the new wedding venue and the time was adjusted. From their heart filled vows to the food at the reception, their day was just as they wanted. Merri and Michael were simply grateful to say “I do” and to share the moment with their family and friends.
